Along the coast of Eastern Arcadia one will find long, clean beaches with thin sand or sparkling white pebbles. 

There are traditional stone houses built on the waterfront or in the hillsides of Mt. Parnonas, a favourable place for long countryside walks.

Just 150 kms away from the center of Athens and some 28 kms south of the city of Nafplio you enter an area full of Byzantine Monasteries and many archeological sites.

Herodes of Attica had his Villa here in ancient Eva near Doliana and the archeologists have brought into light 1.500 m² of mosaics as well as over a hundred magnificent sculptures.

The ancient Tsaconic dialect is spoken widely here, mostly in the mountain villages, in Agios Andreas, Tyros and Leonidion.
